[The Stubbs.FTW] Clinton Fredrick Karr, 61, died Saturday evening at the Moscow Care Center from complications following a stroke. He was born May 31, 1926, at Princeton to Alfred and Mary (Stubbs) Karr. He grew up and attended school there. He worked as an electrician for several years, did some filing and was a gunsmith. In 1961 he moved to Moscow to practice his trade, working in his home. He was a former member of the Moose Lodge. Survivors include four brothers, Lafe and Norman Karr, both at Moscow, Glenn at Parkdale, Ore., and Robert, at Newport, Wash.; three sisters, Rebecca McAdams, at Moscow, Beth Entze, at Walla Walla, and Freda Oppe, at Hesston, Kan.; 20 nieces and nephews and 29 great-nieces and nephews. His parents, two brothers and a sister died previously. Mr. Karr had never married. Cremation has taken place and a family memorial service will be held at a later date. Short's Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements. The family suggests memorials to the Moscow Ambulance Fund or to the Shriner's Children's Hospital in Spokane. |
